I feel so angry
I feel so angry. I am sick of the raise in fees every year. For what?nothing. I have paid thousands over the years. And only have ever used this policy once. 800 deductible and 77 plus a month. The keep giving it to clients up the ass I am so pissed. 15 dollars raise. Talk about be g F¥£€^ Over. I was able to call the company and speak to twice to, to two different advisers. These people are good people and kind. They are just doing their job. My anger has nothing to do with them. It is a 25 % jump in premiums. This is well over the rate of inflation. I am not opposed to a price increase I am opposed to be g financially raped. The people you speak to can do nothing. The cowardly actions of the owners not to take calls or complaints themselves tells me exactly what who the ownership is. I will be the most vocal for not using this company because if there unreasonable money grab.

Do not purchase Pumpkin Pet Insurance
Do not purchase Pumpkin Pet Insurance! Two months after the 30 day waiting period our lab puppy became sick and was hospitalized for 1.5 days. I sent all the claim information, Vet. notes and receipts to Pumpkin. A month later it was denied stating pre-existing and occurred during the waiting period. Pumpkin Insurance is a scam.

These must be paid reviews. Or from people that don't actually have the service. While some customer service agents are decent, their systems and processes are insanely inept, with incredible delays for processing, wrong information, and no contact with the claims department. In response to the below response, it's astonishing to me that you don't see anything wrong with claims taking a month and a half. This has been ongoing for about a year and I would love to know what kind of efforts you've taken to properly staff. Furthermore you still didn't address the issue about the claims department having no oversight and being unable to be reached.

Many Pets is by far the easiest, most friendly experience I have with any companies I deal with. Their helpful, concerned people make all calls enjoyable. Their response time for claims is phenomenal

The process of submitting a claim is fairly straightforward
The process of submitting a claim is extremely simple and hassle-free for the most part. I did struggle a little with the drop down menu for stating my dog's medical issue. The reason for his vet bill would not save so I had to leave it blank and fill in the explanation elsewhere. But that did not hinder the payment and what a relief it was. I have peace of mind given this experience.

I had my 3 pets covered by Trupanion for a short period of time--but found another option that was cheaper and well reviewed by people I know. I called to cancel--all good--they just need someone who is licensed to cancel my policy to take care of the details. Really? Who is the licensing body? This was the beginning of the BS--I received an evening call from the person "licensed" to cancel my policy--I couldn't answer--she followed up with an email to "confirm some details" but assured me I could just reply to the email to cancel my policy--so why was she needed? I sent an email with CLEAR instructions to cancel my policy. I then followed up with a call where I was assured that my policy would be cancelled and I would received confirmation via email in an hour or so. NOPE, I got this: "Before we say goodbye, we'd like to give you until Jul 09, 2023 to review the details of your policy, speak with your veterinarian should you choose, and consider all options before discontinuing your coverage." Yes, you read that right, they were waiting to cancel my policy so I could change my mind. ARE YOU KIDDING!?!?! I followed with a blunt email pointing out their coercive, gangster-style tactics and insisted they cancel--this worked. Based on the number of negative reviews they have received in the past month alone on this site, I suggest buyer beware. If simply cancelling is so difficult, I cannot imagine what filing a claim would be like.

I signed up my 3 dogs (puppy, 5 and 11 years old) for insurance with Pet's Best last August (2022). In March of this year my 11 year old got sick and it was determined his spleen had ruptured and required emergency surgery. His bills were thousands of dollars and I thought for sure Pet's Best would find some reason to deny any payments. INSTEAD they were super compassionate and reimbursed me within 10 days of my first bills being submitted. Follow up care and bills continued for 6 weeks and they reimbursed within a week on those too! HIGHLY recommended!
