Our 4 year old dog recently injured her leg and had to have surgery. From her emergency room visit to her surgery the claim process through Healthy Paws was quick and easy. I just photocopied the receipts from those visits and submitted them through the app. I received my payment a week after I submitted my claim. The ease of the process allowed us to focus on our dogs recovery and not worry about the insurance process. I only wish our healthcare coverage was as efficient!

Fetch Pet Coverage
The marketing on what Fetch covers is very misleading. I chose them as I thought I was getting my puppy premium coverage. 2 years later and many claims rejected with zero reimbursement, I have recalculated the math. Yearly you will have to pay approximately $1.2k in insurance and vet bills before they will cover emergencies and new health conditions. I recommend putting that $1.2k in a savings account yearly to cover your own pets issues as you see fit. Say your pet has $4k vet bill when they are 2 years old. You would have already paid $2.4K towards achieving the insurance requirements. Then they cover 80 percent of that. You are now paying at least $800 of that vet bill. So technically you paid $3200 of that $4k vet bill.

One-Month Free Trial Showed How Worthless They Are
This company offered a one-month free trial through my dog's animal hospital, and I'm so glad they did. I filed a claim for an ear infection the vet found on one visit. Trupanion delayed and delayed the processing until they finally denied the claim saying it was pre-existing. My vet even filed the paperwork for an appeal, but they still denied it. Their free trial let me see what kind of company they run.

Best Customer Service Experience
This was my first time having to file a claim and unfortunately I had to take my little guy twice in one week to the vet. Talk about a big bill. Healthy Paws made the process super easy from beginning to end. Afterwords they even reached out to see how my feline friend was doing. Great customer service!

Shoutout to Carmen for great customer service!
Just wanted to commend Carmen on her great customer service while having to file my first claim. She was very helpful and understood the stress of needing to use their service, my poor Zen was hurt and had to go to the ER. Anyone with pets knows that filing a claim is usually a result of some misfortune and she was knowledgeable and patient and helpful. I’ve had so many poor customer service experiences that I now commend those who provide good service.
