Clam processing taking much longer
I have had good experiences with this insurance company up until now. My dog recently had an intestinal blockage that needed surgery to remove. It’s coming up on a month since I filed the claim and all I have gotten is a sorry for the delay letter. When you call, it’s like they are reading from a script, they just keep repeating it takes 15 to 45 days to process claims and more complex claims take more time. I take that to mean the more we have to pay out the more time it takes. They need to keep their clients better informed throughout the claim process of any delays and why they are happening. Very disappointing this time.

My last two dogs had more health issues than I could have ever imagined possible. It was so nice to be able to say "do whatever it takes" without the added worry of trying to figure out how we would pay for it all. Trupanion never let me down.

Excellent coverage and customer service
I have only submitted 4 claims so far, but have been very happy with their customer service, their ease of submitting and checking on claims and their coverage. This is the best think I've done to never question whether I could afford to give my dog the care she needs when needed.

I am so thankful to have Trupanion pet insurance for my multipoo, Jake, who has had some health issues starting from an early age. No matter the problem, they have relieved much of the financial burden resulting from Jake being treated by his vet.
