You did not cover my dogs ear infection…
You did not cover my dogs ear infection claiming it is related to allergies however my dog does not have chronic ear infections and when the ear was swabbed it came back with a fungal and bacterial infection. She is a dog with floppy ears that likes to swim. It doesn't pay to tell your vet about an occasional itch!. They automatically write down "allergy" and prescribe Apoquel. My dog doesn't itch or take Apoquel. It is just another loophole to get out of covering an illness. An ear infection is not an allergy it is a treatable and curable infection.

Easy processing but weak coverage.
Processing was efficient and easy and payment hit my checking account quickly. 3 stars because I think not covering examinations is ridiculous and overall percent covered is low (~25%). My 3 claims so far: 1. Treatment cost: $522.68. Covered by Trupanion: $74.41 2. Cost: $830.66. Covered: $162.59 3. Cost: $807. Covered: $296.30

We have yet to have ANY …
We have yet to have ANY coverage...each time it is denied stating a pre existing condition. Our dog was poisoned. We rushed him to the Vet and fortunately they managed to save him. How can this be a preexisting condition I have been requested to provided more information to trupanion and yet they have yet to provide a reliable procedure of doing so.
