It was very easy to sign up for Spot…
It was very easy to sign up for Spot pet insurance. The website was easy to navigate and I liked being able to easily choose my coverage options and see the costs up front. I thought the voicemail I received welcoming me to Spot was especially nice.

I had lost my initial confirmation of my new policy...after I was able to contact Sonnet they sent me a contact phone number..I was able to get my policy number from them..it did take some time for Sonnet to provide the contact phone number..a little faster would have been better.

SONNET INSURANCE LIES
I have had a couple of issues with Sonnet. They like to make themselves look good but when it comes down to it and you need them they are not there. I wrote off my truck in 2021 (not my fault) Truck was only 3 months old and Sonnet claims to pay the full amount up to 2 years. Well after arguing I got them to come up a bit but still fell short 15K to replace for the same vehicle. Second issue I have is that we carry a 2M home insurance so we have no worries and covers everything even being sued. We recently got sued in Feb of 2022 for 1M dollars and after reviewing our case Sonnet decided they didn't or couldn't take the case because of the aligations brought forward. We were the last people to get sued in a group of about 15 couples and everyone else's insurance covered them no problem but not Sonnet we are the only ones paying out of pocket. Don't get fooled by this company really do your research because one day this could happen to you.

Best pet insurance ever!
I got Embrace for my Greyhound Puppy, the setup was very easy and I like the iPhone app. Well a few months into having the insurance my puppy had an accident and he chipped 2 of his teeth which required dental surgery and it was almost $2000!I submitted a claim through the iPhone app and they reimbursed 90% of the bill! I was very happy at how easy the claim process was and how quickly the claims adjuster reached out to me. I will definitely be staying with Embrace pet insurance :)

Aging Kitties
I've adopted kitties that wound up seriously ill later in life requiring a good deal of expensive medical attention though they were not covered by pet insurance. Big mistake! Not having insurance or money set aside to care for critically ill critters makes medical decisions very difficult at best. This time around, on adopting a new older kitty I thought it wise to purchase pet insurance. Good decision! A couple years after adoption of my aging fur baby she needed surgery for a bladder stone and later was diagnosed with Type II Diabetes. Filing claims with Pumpkin Insurance turned out to be an easy process and saved me a great deal of money covering a good portion of her surgery bill and ongoing diabetic prescriptions. My only minor complaint...the time between submission of claim and settlement. Despite - I'm very grateful to Pumpkin Insurance for their helpful coverage. Made deciding appropriate medical care choices much less stressful. My fur baby is comfortable and happy having been able to receive prompt medical care.
