I keep having to track down the vets for medical records and I wish the Embrace representatives were more proactive with following up and asking for what they need.

I would recommend this pet insurance company

I would like to say in my 4 years of using Embrace Pet Insurance, I have been happy with the coverage and the ease of submitting a claim. Whenever I've had to call with questions, I have gotten a very nice dog-loving human on the phone. I have already recommended Embrace Pet Insurance to multiple friends.

Our Golden Doodle’s health insurance.

Our golden doodle Cooper has Trupanion for his health insurance since puppyhood. Every time with the exception of once when it was a preexisting health issue, Trupanion has reimbursed our insurance claims in a timely fashion. We are quite satisfied with our decision to have Trupanion as our fur baby’s insurance.

I just purchased this insurance trough…costco

I just purchased this insurance trough Costco and since I have never had a dog insurance is bottom line ridiculous. Another way of legally scammed people what's the point of paying for insurance if you have to pay first and then submit the bill to them to get reimbursed that's if your vet even does anything at all which in my case they have not done anything at all figo said they email them three times. I call them one time the office manager and she said she will submit the information back to figo which obviously it has not been done. With kaiser insurance e health plan for people you are paying just as you are paying for this dog insurance buy the difference is you don't have to pay anything to get the help you need and then get reimbursed this scenario will only happen if you are out of the contry. I thought figo was a good insurance company 🤔 because of costco recommended but it turns out is just another scammed. As soon is am back in the states and finish this none sense I will cancel and maybe look for another company or just pay out of pocket since is what I had to do in the first place and the purpose of having insurance is just a joke. I dont recommend Figo.

Excellent Customer Service!

The lovely CS rep I talked with was kind, professional, knowledgeable and patient. She reviewed the benefits of the policy and helped me feel great about the investment I'm making in my pup!

Great at finding excuses not to pay anything.

My mom has been paying premiums of approximately $50/month for Trupanion for years. Her dog recently had to have a surgery for a broken tooth for about $1000. She submitted a pre-surgery estimate to Trupanion which was approved for an expected payout of about $400. She's living on Social Security and the expected partial refund was part of her budgeting. However Trupanion is now claiming the surgery was for two separate dental conditions, i.e. Dental Disease and Broken Tooth, each with its own $500 deductible which must be met! Therefore the payout is now $0, not $400 as they estimated! I looked at the invoice again and I struggle to see how anyone can reasonably split the charges up into anything but the surgery for the broken tooth (it was one surgery after all). This seems like they tried very hard to manufacture some kind of loophole to avoid paying anything. I am extremely disappointed and will recommend she find another pet insurance company because Trupanion is definitely not worth the money. (I provided additional info as requested for Trupanion to investigate, but meant to provide this too, so posting here: Preapproval #10946358 ) Update: I called Trupanion and was given the explanation that because two teeth were actually extracted during the surgery for two different reasons (one was broken and one was from decay), that means there were two conditions, each with its own $500 deductible that has to be met before a payout. As a layman I see this as one surgery for $1000 that extracted two teeth, so it should have just one $500 deductible. So I still don't like this justification for the lack of payout. But you can decide for your self if I'm being unreasonable or if this is standard practice.
