We’ve been using Figo for about a year now and we love it! Unfortunately our pup had some issues this year, but Figo made the financial part one less thing to worry about. The app is really easy to work with I can submit a claim in less than 2 minutes. The review process is pretty quick and we’re updated every step of the way. We will definitely have Figo insurance for all of our dogs going forward

Efficient, expeditious and easy
I filed a claim on Sunday morning and it was settled within 72 hours. The process is very simple- essentially log in, upload the medical procedures summary and submit. I was so relieved that it wasn’t a paperwork headache or a phone tree disaster- I couldn’t have handled that in addition to the stress of having such a sick little dog. So efficient- I wish all insurance providers operated this way.

Since choosing SPOT for my Golden Retriever ( Millie) pet insurance I am very confident we will be pleased with the service that SPOT offers. When I first signed up for Trupanion, I made sure that accidents would be covered for my dog, I was insured that they would. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been the case, they’ve covered nearly none of my claims. I recently had a claim for intoxication, and they are saying that they will not cover the accident because it has happened in the past. Labeling it as “foreign body”, A foreign body is something that is stuck inside you but isn't supposed to be there. There was nothing stuck inside my dog, he ate something he was not supposed to, and was intoxicated from it. It was a completely different claim, but they still claimed it as a foreign body. Please be careful when signing up with this company, in my experience they will do whatever they can to get out of paying a claim. I never would have gone with them. If I knew these accidents were not going to be covered, it was the whole reason I got the insurance.

Claim denied
I had great experiences with my previous experiences with Figo. I adopted a new dog who had some diarrhea after I first adopted her which is so normal for a dog adjusting to a new environment. 6 months later I took her in for testing for a totally different intestinal disorder and feeling confident this claim would be covered I did several types of testing and my claim was denied as “preexisting condition” which was not the case. I’m seriously considering canceling my policy because of concern for future claims being denied.
