EMERGENCY SURGERY COVERAGE
My dog was attacked by a deer in rut and was pretty ripped up on a Saturday evening. We had to take her to the ER vet for surgery. FIGO covered their portion of the medical and Rx bill with ease, thank God!

I cannot recommend Trupanion
My dog spontaneously developed multiple eyelid tumors at about age 6, which were surgically removed on June 1st. Trupanion arbitrarily decided they were two separate conditions (REALLY?! What an AMAZING COINCIDENCE!) thus costing me a second $1000 deductible. They have ignored both the post-surgical lab analysis and my written appeal of July 11th, notwithstanding my numerous attempts to follow up. Despite the placating responses they post on this site, I believe that Trupanion will play these abusive games until there is a class action lawsuit or effective legislation and regulation - both of which I would be happy to support.
