Happy to have my pet insured
I have had an Unfortunate passing of our flat coated retriever from Lymphoma, Luckily I had PetsBest to pickup the bills once he was diagnosed at 3.5yrs. they also covered his cremation expenses. We got another puppy a few months later because the void was too big for the kiddos. immediately, I have purchased Insurance for him. only to discover a few months later that he has elbow dysplasia... OH BOY! I'm so lucky I have decided to yet again to buy Insurance! The one think i wish BestPets were able to do is to pay directly to the Veterinarian.

What went right should be the question!
What went right should be the question! Multiple requests for the same information in order to process a claim. 5 months of phone calls, e-mails w/requested information sent/resent including from our vet(s), notified they don't read mail for 30 days since I provided a hard copy since their claims adjusters don't read prior claim information submitted through their claim system. This company should be sent to the Better Business Bureau.

This company will falsely deny a claim
This company will falsely deny a claim. For example, my dog was ill two months after the insurance had been purchased and they denied the claim saying it was within the 14 day waiting period. This was incorrect. But there is no way to dispute the denial and customer service just completely ignores my emails. They are in it for the money and deny claims without even looking at them. Additionally, I got this insurance for a rescue because they cover behavioral vet visits, but those were all denied because it was “pre-existing”. Of course it was - he’s a rescue ASPCA! Talk about not fulfilling your own mission. So now I have thousands of dollars in denied claims and a useless insurance policy that I pay premiums on.
