Submitting a claim has always been easy and the response prompt. We have not had any trouble using Spot and it has been super helpful with my dog and the vet visits.

Doesn’t cover taxes
If insurance cover 90% then it should be responsible of 90% of taxes as well, it doesn’t make sense that taxes are not covered of the amount they’re covering

"Spot" On Pet Insurance
The ease of submitting claims, the trackability of it, payment speed, everything so far has been phenominal. This is the first time I've had pet insurance and I was skeptical because I know how confusing HUMAN insurance can be, so I've been VERY surprised at how easy SPOT makes it to be covered.

Healthy Paws has been amazing
Healthy Paws has been amazing. Without them, I couldn’t have afforded my pet’s surgery. They have been so kind anytime I had questions, and worked quickly to get us reimbursed. They even reached out post surgery to see how Loki was doing. I would highly suggest to anyone who js seeking pet insurance to consider using Healthy Paws!!

HORRIBLE experience
I had claims rejected that were for my dog's external yeast infection because I was told that a POTENTIAL food allergy that was noted in 2019 is a pre-existing condition. This makes zero sense. My dog does not have a food allergy, and even if he did, that would be completely unrelated from an external yeast infection that he picked up from boarding.... When I tried to rebut the outcome with customer service, they literally copied and pasted responses. There was not opportunity to provide additional doctor's notes or "proof" as to why this should be accepted as a claim. A yeast infection is an unexpected illness that is in no way related to a pre-existing condition (that he doesnt even have!). Horrible coverage, horrible customer experience, horrible customer service/support
