Nothing Seems to Be Claimable
Haven't had the insurance long enough for my dog to capitalize on its worth, but from the start it has been "pre-existing" this, etc. I'm shelling out $102 per month and maybe one day, although we never want anything bad to happen to our pets, I will thank myself for buying it.

I don’t like that I pay extra for…
I don’t like that I pay extra for preventive care and only a very small percentage is covered especially vaccines. We give them to our pets so they don’t get severely sick. The insurance would have to pay out a lot more in costs if we don’t give our pets essential vaccines. Insurance should cover a larger percentage as they do for humans. Also drug plans should be available for pets.

Peace of mind
Our dog Kaya was diagnosed with Lymphoma in February of 2023 and was given 4-6 weeks to live without any treatment. We chose to send her for chemotherapy. Trupanion was amazing with payments for her vet bills/ bloodwork/medications and chemotherapy at the OVC hospital. They even covered a treatment that had to be authorized to come from another country since the original treatment was not working. It was a comfort not having to be concerned with extensive medical bills so that we were able to focus totally on our girl. Trupanion made it quite easy to submit everything needed. Sadly Kaya lost her battle with cancer in June but it was a comfort knowing that we were able to offer her everything we could to allow her that extra time with us and I have trupanion to thank for that!

Insurance for our cat
After an emergency trip to the vet and a lot of out of pocket expenses we decided to get insurance for our cat. I took her for shots and a well visit and her wellness plan covered most of our cost. So far I'm very happy with her insurance plan

I am a first time pet owner. I had no idea of where to begin and was afraid of purchasing a costly policy filled with a lot of fluff. I used my bank product listing and found Embrace. The agent I spoke to was very knowledgeable and had pleasant customer service skills. He was patience in answering all my questions as well as helpful in helping me put together a policy I am pleased with. I am definitely impressed at how easy it is to submit a claim and the amount of time it takes to receive the reimbursement. I have, since purchasing this policy reviewed other companies and have decided I will remain with Embrace. I am pleased with professionalism and service I have received from agents of Embrace.
