Fast Claim Processing and People Who Care
We’ve had healthy paws for about a year. We adopted a dog who lived on the streets as a puppy, and wanted the security of a plan that didn’t have out of pocket maximums, as we weren’t sure what to expect. Healthy Paws processes claims very quickly, and even takes the time to follow up and ask how the animal is doing. Their rates are very reasonable. I’d highly recommend.

Great coverage and timely payment
I recently had to spend ~$7000 for my sick cat, some from regular vet and some from specialist appointment. I had 90% of it reimbursed after $450 deductible. I'd be in a very difficult position if I didn't have insurance from Fetch.

Don't plan on this to come to your rescue.
My pet became ill and required critical care and hospitalization. I had a $500 deductible with my 90% coverage. Only one emergency hospital in the greater Toronto area was willing to accept coverage from the insurance company and as a result my pet did not make it. I was perplexed as to why that was..until I saw how much I was being reimbursed for. So of a hospital bill of around $1400...I ended up paying almost $1000 and for a vet bill of $1200...I ended up paying almost $900. So it's clear that this So called 90 % coverage with no caps is not true even with a $500 deductible. For all those pet owners who think that this coverage will cover an icu visit, think again. And they sent my limited reimbursement via cheque when its 2023 and my policy payments come out direct deposit. Never ever again! UPDATE: I spoke to someone to get assistance on the charges. I asked for a summary of all billings since they are disputing my statements. I'm being told they can't produce a summary??? REALLY..never again. I will remain one of your biggest detractors...that's the least I can do for my deceased pet. UPDATE: October 14, no one from Trupanion has reached out to me. I keep on providing my account details on this forum and radio silence. Still have not received my itemized statement of account. I will say it again,beware...keep your cash and maybe unlike me your fur baby will survive.

I haven’t received any follow up on the policy purchase on 9/24. Also the elections selected were incorrect and no way of me changing it. No one has contacted me for any updates and I am thinking of withdrawing my money back

great and dependable insurance company
as I have had this policy for three years I didnt have to use it until this year my animals have been very healthy and well. as the years add up with my dog Lexi she has not had a good year. an enlarged heart and major stomach issues that require her a strict diet and watchful care of the vets. this insurance company has been nothing but helpful and quick to follow through with all the claims. I recommend this company to my friends and family all the time and I don't think they understand the need for pet insurance the way I do.
