Figo is great-10/10 recommend
Figo is great. It’s easy to submit a claim, and claims are reviewed/processed at a good pace. They had lots of customizable options for securing a plan within your budget. The ability to text with an e-vet is also a game changer. That feature alone has saved us lots of money by avoiding unnecessary visits to our local vet.

Every year our insurance goes up by almost $20 a month. Our dog just turned 5 and it’s almost $90 a month. Can’t imagine how much we’ll be paying when she’s *actually* old. And of course, I can’t shop around because now she has pre-existing conditions, like allergies.

Completely Confident I Made the Right Choice
This has been my first experience with pet insurance, and every single step of the way, Embrace has made me feel 100% comfortable and confident I made the right choice. I have been a client for over two months now and the quality of care has stayed the same. Their customer service is extremely friendly! Also very helpful and reassuring; they offer 24/7 care if you need to call with a health concern or any questions whatsoever. The site is very easy to navigate and understand how to submit claims, edit your policy, add a new pet, etc. I have both of my furbabies signed up and feel relieved. For what their plans offer vs what you pay, it almost feels like a steal! They will also work with you honestly about what the best policy and plans are for your pet's needs; they do not try to upsell at all! I had been considering a higher tier portion of my plan, but the representative discussed with me in detail and helped me determine that the mid-tier was the best option for me. You can tell everyone genuinely is passionate about what they do, and they love your pets as if they were their own! Do not use another company; Embrace is the way to go!

They'll double your premium after 1 year
I had Embrace pet insurance for 1 year, the rate was roughly $95 a month for both of my dogs. I was about to come up on my 1 year anniversary with Embrace, they sent me an email informing me that my premium would increase from $98 a month to $195 a month. There was no explanation why, of course I called in and spoke with a representative. She informed me it could be that my dogs were a year older and possibly do to my location which did not change. She said I could speak with a licensed agent and adjust my coverage to get my premium down. Obviously I declined, why would I keep insurance with a company that doubles my premium after 1 year of being a customer. I canceled my coverage and will be looking for insurance with a company that treats it's customers right. I'm disgusted with that Ebrace pet insurance and hope whoever is responsible for doubling rates has an awful short life.

I do not like the policy about…pre-existing Conditions
I do not like the policy about pre-existing conditions. It's like they look for anything to deny a claim. It should be like people insurance and they should have a waiting period and then cover certain things.

Wasnt a great help
Too many stipulations on what can be covered for older pets with issues and having to pay a $500 pet deductible before anything is covered defeats the purpose of pet insurance. I will be changing companies once the renewal period arrives. I was referred by USAA but will be writing to them as well to reconsider their partnership for endorsement.
