Incredible Customer Service!
I had the pleasure of working with Carla Stevens which was an incredibly easy and informative experience! She was so patient with me on the phone as I asked a million questions in preparation for our puppy's arrival and has since been extremely communicative via email any time I've had follow up questions. She really makes me feel like I'm always talking to real people who care about my pet and not just a big company!

Healthy Pups!
We have two dogs covered by MetLife and have never had a problem with a claim. The coverage offered is excellent, communication is quick and thorough, and reimbursement is no problem. Having MetLife for our dogs helps ensure that they are cared for in the best possible way. Our pup's health and wellness is very important to us!

The claims process is easy and straightforward through the site. Payment was turned around within a week, and customer service was super helpful with questions. They are definitely more expensive which is my only issue. When prices rose this year I had to raise my deductible to afford insurance.

"In May of this year (2025) we learned that our young, sweet dog (fur baby, we have no children of our own) Blackjack was diagnosed with lymphoma. We have had him about 3.5 years and he is a rescue. When we learned of this news, we were devastated of course. Thank God we had insured both of our dogs with pet insurance from Pets Best. This pet insurance has been a lifesaver for us. Blackjack's oncologist appointments and cancer treatments have been very expensive and with petsbest insurance covering 80%, it has helped immensely. This is the only way we are able to continue paying for our sweet pups treatments- with the help of the insurance. The yearly insurance is affordable for us because we budget for it. Having insurance for pets is a MUST. You never know what can happen especially with rescues. I would recommend PetsBest to anyone. PetsBest insurance was recommended to us by another pet parent and I am SO glad we got pet insurance. After our first rescue dog needed a blood tranfusion then unfortunately did not make it much longer, we decided that pet insurance is most definitely worth it! Thank you PetsBest! "

Excellent!
So far, amazing! Communication has been great and the sing up process is simple and straight forward. You know upfront what you're going to get! Additionally, submitting a claim is so easy anyone could do it. I was really worried that I'd be overwhelmed and not understand how to do anything to benefit from pet insurace but that hasn't been the case at all!

Good catastrophic insurance but becoming unaffordable.
I have been with this company for almost 10 years. At first it was affordable but now my dog's health insurance costs more than my health insurance. The insurance doesn't help with the office visit cost or cost of diagnosing an issue, just treatment which sometimes is included in the office fee. I would like to take my dog to a specialist but between the cost for the office visit, the $250 issue deductible and the monthly premium I keep paying, I am not sure I can afford to continue this insurance.
