I was offered different options that went from less expensive to more expensive, based on the deductible. The sales person was very helpful in communicating the options and also discussing the fact that I have a puppy so likely illness is not as typical as it is for an older dog.

Puppy Package not as Advertised
Most claims are denied and when we signed up we were told that the puppy package would cover most of the costs of vaccines but we are not told it would only cover the 1st time our puppy receive the vaccine. So we only were covered for the first of 3 vaccination visits.

We are super happy with Spot!
I know nothing about pet insurance as this is my first time getting it for my new pup. Spot had good coverage options with the routine and preventative add on package so my girl is fully covered. The cost isn't outrageous for full coverage and it was so quick and easy to enroll. My pups first vet appointment for routine care was shortly after we got spot coverage and it was super easy to submit a claim. A few days in review and they covered us in full. Over all I'm really happy with this insurance plan!

I never thought I would need Trupanion until....
I got trupanion when we brought our new puppy home and thought it would be a 'just in case thing' where it would be nice to have not thinking that a couple of years later my Bing would swallow something that would obstruct his bowels and he would need surgery! When the hospital discovered I had Trupanion coverage they told me all I had to do was leave it to them and they would submit the treatment plan for approval. Sure enough Trupanion approved the procedure right then and there and the only thing I needed to worry about was taking care of my fur baby, not how I was going to pay the substantial bill! It was such a relief! I haven't stopped telling anyone with a pet how essential having this coverage is...I never thought I would need it and believe me when you're hit with the costs, you will be glad you did! Thank you Trupanion!

Added a New Rescue Kitty
I have had Embrace Pet Insurance for two years now. They have always been there for me when I had questions about my pet care. When I needed to add my newest rescue cat, I called them to see what I needed to do. The representative walked me through the process and I was finished very quickly. I’m happy knowing that my new kitty is covered for his health and wellness and any emergencies that may arise.
