GO ANYWHERE ELSE
Horrible company. My cat passed away earlier this week and luckily I was able to pay all of the costs but they denied every claim and their reason was “your claim wasn’t eligible for coverage” but I purchased the accident and illness coverage. We took him to the ER because he had 2 mini episodes of what looked like seizures back to back and we weren’t going to risk it progressing into anything else. My cat was diagnosed with HCM and never in his short life showed ANY symptoms of that condition. Unfortunately that is why it’s known as the “silent killer”. Also, no emails explaining in depth why it was denied. Not a pre-existing condition and was never seen for anything related to this. If I can’t trust you guys during this time, what makes you think I’d trust this rotten company with my other pets. The fake reviews are also such a red flag. Please, all pet parents, go ANYWHERE else but this company. I also called the company that handles the underwriting for them and their representative told me multiple times they had no record whatsoever on the claim that was supposedly sent by Spot.

Excellent Customer Service
Patrick was amazing! He was knowledgeable and didn't make me feel rushed which happens a lot when calling into companies. It was much appreciated. I work in the same kind of field and his work ethic is very much the way I operate. People need to be listened to and get to speak to agents like Patrick. He is definitely an asset for your company.

SPOT is priced right, they have great options tailored to consumer needs!
SPOT is just right for my dog's health! I've had over 40 dog's throughout my lifetime. I'd not purchased pet insurance in the past. I have one dog presently. I feel fortunate that I signed on with SPOT! With the crash of America's economy, I'm relieved that i spent money to save money long term. After an extensive investigation of pet insurance companies, I continually went back to SPOT. PRICED RIGHT, GREAT OPTIONS TO TAILOR TO CONSUMER NEEDS! I have and will continue to recommended SPOT Insurance! Signed, A HAPPY Client and Shih Tzu!

I have injury/accident insurance with…
I have injury/accident insurance with Embrace for both my dogs at $115/month (80% coverage & $500 deductible). My dog injured his eye. It took dozens of emails/phone calls and over a month to get Embrace the medical records they needed for a claim review (they separate each invoice into an individual review process with different claims adjusters). Embrace relies too heavily on YOU to make sure they have the records they need. What frustrates me the MOST is that even though this was 100% an injury, because my vet used an eye gel that is NOT FDA APPROVED, Embrace would not cover it. They said it would be under their wellness plan, which is effectively an HSA and not worth it. This gel was 25% of each bill I submitted to them, so even though I paid my premiums and over $700 in vet bills, Embrace reimbursed me $2.40. If I find any other loop holes (like the non FDA approved gel BS), it likely wont make any financial sense to keep paying these premiums. Just FYI.
