I Love Healthy Paws
I really like Healthy Paws insurance. It is very easy to submit a claim and they are quick to respond and reimburse. Communication has been very good when I’ve had questions. I really like that there are no per year or per incident caps!

For anyone looking for Pet Insurance.
For anyone looking for pet insurance, please make sure they tell you what is covered and not covered from the beginning, check what your pet's pre existing conditions are and what is NOT covered based on that. I enrolled with embrace hoping to have some peace of mind in case my cat ever needed veterinary care, they did a vet history check where they get your pet's records and determine what's covered and if there are any pre-existing conditions that won't be covered. At the time of enrollment I did not receive notice of conditions that would not be covered. I paid for my cat's Accident & Illness policy for basically a year. She got sick about a month ago (lethargic, vomit, diarrhea) I took her to the vet and she got treated for those symptoms with antibiotics, anti-inflammatories along with an x-ray that showed a possible soft tissue mass in her abdomen. When I submitted the claim, they said they had to do another Vet history check and this second time they stated that treatment for any mass including cancer would not be covered because my cat had a mass in her ear years ago according to her vet history. I wonder if they did not communicate this to me with the first history check so that I would keep the policy and then they could deny whatever treatment once a claim is submitted under the pretext of a 'second history check is needed'. So I had to cover the $730 bill out of pocket on top of paying for all the insurance premiums for a year which were an absolute waste of money. I cancelled the policy because any treatment moving forward would be linked to that and not covered obviously. Fast forward, I've taken my cat to the vet once again, and they stated that what looked like a mass is instead an enlarged kidney and she has an infection, we still need more testing to determine the exact cause. The bill is at $1500 right now but that number keeps growing, I will do anything for my cat but I'd be lying if I said these events don't affect you big time financially. My recommendation if you're searching for insurance: Get everything in writing from the start, what's covered and what's not, read the fine print and ask for clarification on anything you don't understand and lastly but the most important piece of advise, BUILD AN EMERGENCY FUND for your pet, save what you can while they're healthy to cover vet expenses when they're not. Insurances in general will use anything and everything they can to not pay and not do their part, I've lived it with my own health insurance and with my cat's.

Way too expensive to make it worth it
I’ve been with fetch for 4 years, with only one small claim for an accident. Fetch has consistently increased their premiums and this year they increased it by more than 50% from $79/month to nearly $130/month for my health 4 year old dog. They tried to justify their increase (inflation, my dogs age, dog breed, etc) but I found more than one provider with dramatically lower rates, leaving me no choice but to cancel my insurance and go with a competitor. It’s embarrassing that they think this is acceptable, and at this rate by next year I’d be paying more than $200/month. Get out before my dog actually needs insurance. You’re an embarrassment to pet insurance and it’s disgusting that you think it’s acceptable to rob people, not everyone can leave. For anyone else in my situation whose dogs don’t have medical conditions PetsPlusUs has never increased my premiums for my other dog and Furkin offers the same coverage for a much lower price.

Pre-existing Condition Clause.
Pre-existing Condition Clause. I chose Many Pets over many other insurance companies because they claim to cover pre-existing conditions if there has been no symptom or treatment over the course of several months. As soon as I signed up, I began to get a series of emails explaining what they do and DON'T cover. Within these emails, it states that any previous condition must be CURED, with medical records to show as evidence. The example given was, if your dog had a bout of diarrhea 4 months prior to signing up and then again just after signing up and it could be proven that they were related, medical costs would not be covered. When I responded by saying "So you don't cover pre-existing conditions.", I got no response. It just felt like a series of "gotcha" emails.

Was really doubtful at first but glad we joined trupanion
Bought insurance for our baby Lulu she's had all kids of health issues since we adopted her from a rescue shelter in 2019. I knew there's a lot that would not be covered. But about a month after we had her policy Lulu suffered sudden onset glaucoma in one eye. We spent over 2500 on her surgery and now she will have to go every month for pressure test in her good eye..we had a few issues at first be all were resolved and her claims paid. I really had my doubts about pet insurance at first but I'm sold on it now. I suggest to anyone thinking about getting trupanion go ahead purchase it. Thanks for helping us give Lulu the care she needs.

Our experience with Heathy Paws was…great
Our experience with Heathy Paws was excellent. We had to take our puppy to an emergency vet and knowing that we had insurance helped with choosing her care. I filed a claim on Tuesday and had the reimbursement on Thursday. They were fantastic and I would recommend them as they were helpful and efficient.

Super fast and easy.
I kept putting off doing my claim because I thought it was going to be complicated and frustrating but I was wrong. The system was incredibly easy to use. The response time was very quick and within a few days I saw my money hit my account. I’m a fan
