A very good company

Signing up my puppy
I was told that after my puppy had her healthy vet appointment, i could get the one month free if I signed up during that week. My pets appointment was on a wednesday and I called on friday and they told me I was not eligible because i had not signed up on thruway. Never realized, according to Trupanion, that thursday was the last day of the week.If I had not already been a Trupanion subscriber, I would not have signed up. Would have wondered what else is not entirely true that I was told?

I got off to a rough start with Embrace…
I got off to a rough start with Embrace when I put in a claim for my Dog “Koru” who was diagnosed with cancer in September. I was told that his condition was deemed pre-existing from a veterinary record they had back in January, and I immediately took to google and wrote a scathing review about how bad this company is. Once I’d calmed down and explored the options that Embrace offered me to appeal their decision, I had my Vet submit information stating that there’s no way Koru could’ve survived if the cancer had been there since January, and gone untreated. The decision was immediately overturned, and all claims were honoured promptly with auto pay directly to my account within a week of each submission. Unfortunately Koru lost his battle with cancer on 11/06/2023, but without the insurance I would’ve been out of pocket over $5000.00. Thank you for honouring your policy Embrace, and helping me get through this difficult time.

Great Customer Service and Fast Turn Around!
When looking for pet insurance, I was very thorough about finding the right fit for my 2 cats. I called each company and asked them several questions as I have a special case with my FIV+ cat. The only company that gave me straight answers that made sense and were honest was Figo. They actually care about giving your pet the best coverage at a price you can afford. I added on the basic wellness power up and used it for the first time two days ago and my claim was reviewed and closed in less than 5 minutes. My reimbursement was in my account in 48 hours. Figo is truly the best!

Spot has been great

slow payment
Their coverage is good but the reimbursement time is slow and if you call them to get status on a claim all they say it could take 45 business days to finish claims. then once the claim is finished it another 5 days before its in your bank. but they know how to get your payment the day they need it

I wouldn’t of even given them a one after what they did to me🤬 my policy started sept 30th I had to wait 14 days after! I took my dog to the vet on October 25th they asked me what was going on I was honest and said he was drinking a lot of water in September he was physically diagnosed October 25th for diabetes they claim that he has had a pre existing condition because I said he was drinking a lot of water I’m so upset I’m out 1200 dollars because I made a statement sucks to be honest don’t use them please don’t

Pets Best has provided wonderful and reliable service. My dog has had 2 major injuries (surgery) and several illnesses in the past 2 years. As a result, I've submitted many invoices for coverage. All have been approved without question and paid within a reasonable window of time. The injuries and illnesses for our dog have been stressful enough. Having Pets Best as our insurer has provided the comfort of having one less thing to worry about.

I spent weeks researching pet insurance plans and companies and i took my time to find one that would take good care of my 11 y/o pup in times of need. I took a chance on Pets Best and I’m so glad I did. They have been nothing short of amazing. They have offset 90% of the financial burden that comes with being a pet owner. I haven’t had a single issue as of yet and my claims have been processed in a timely manner. The customer service (especially via the chat option) has been extremely helpful and kind. Thank you Pets Best for being there when the unforeseen occurs.
