Ruptured Disc
My two year old beagle required surgery for a ruptured disc. Because of Pets Best I was able to get her the best care available. She has made a full recovery, much faster than anyone expected. Her bill was a little over $8000. After paying a $250 deductible and 20% copay, I was reimbursed $6500. The only item not reimbursed was for vitamins. Her premium for the year was less than $500 so it's been very cost effective to have her insured with Pets Best.
Great timeliness
I submitted a claim and it was handled within a day - great to see since a few months ago there was a bit of a delay. I understand, and it is great to see you are back to the timely response I am used to. I love Pets Best Pet Insurance, and I would recommend it to anyone. Absolutely have exceeded my expectations since I started my policy.

I’m so grateful that I got insurance…
I’m so grateful that I got insurance for my two 1 year old cats this year. My male cat experienced bladder inflammation/UTI for the first time and Spot has accepted every claim, including the prescription food. I’ve already hit my $250 deductible and not they reimburse 90%. So far, so good! Hoping that this level of care and acceptance continues.

They consistently take 4-6 weeks to review the file despite stating on their website, and elsewhere it takes 5-7 business days. It feels either that they are understaffed or that they are intentionally stretching things out to discourage people from filing claims. I did not have this issue with my previous provider Lemonade.

Wow-Quick and Easy!
Wow! My first claim and it was quick as lightning! My dog went in for his annual shots and I sent a photo of the paid bill and within minutes, an email came that I was getting back $50 (of a $75 bill)! Easy peasy!

Good Experience with Fetch
Good Experience with Fetch. I like the ability to track submissions and especially the confirmation of receipt of the claim so I know it’s there for processing. They are clear in coverage or reason for non-coverage according to my policy. Direct deposit is also great. Very good experience for us.

Absolutely recommend
I've been a customer with TruPanion for a bit over 6 years now. They've always made the claims process easy to do. My vet's office bills right to them so I don't even have to pay everything out of pocket - except for the deductible of course - and wait for reimbursement (I did submit one invoice for a prescription I got my dog for his current claim and had my reimbursement in my checking account the next day). They are always very helpful in answering any questions you may have. Their website is easy to navigate as well, when it comes to access to your account and pulling everything up you want to see (claims, etc). I'm VERY happy with TruPanion and I'm glad I had the forethought to even insure my 2 Huskies back when I did. I highly recommend them.
