I sent in my bills for a spot well over…
I sent in my bills for a spot well over six weeks ago and still have not gotten a deposit in my Bank of America account for the $186. It’s already time for my Pets next check up. This little guy is a new pet a baby and I need to keep consistent in his care. Please, check on this and advise me what to do. Thank you.

Absurd Price hikes out of nowhere!! My cancellation with…
11/28/2023 My cancellation with Trupanion Pet Insurance is due to the outrageous $50. price hike in monthly premiums with no warning and truly what I consider, taking advantage of pet owners. I have been extremely disappointed in their customer service apathy and overall experience. I have a healthy 6-year-old lab. If I was to continue with his policy, the price would have increased to over $1500. annually until the next hike, out of nowhere!!! I was told they have a high overhead when I called because I was certain it had to be an error. It wasn't. Open your own pet insurance savings account. Total waste of money being the victim! Sincerely, Mary Murray Bruno, Boston, MA

Should be named Pets Worst
I filed three claims with them after my waiting period was over. The first was for an allergic reaction related to an MCT, which was accepted and paid part of my deductible. The second was for a follow up visit due to continued health problems from the first claim. Suddenly the MCT is pre-existing and they denied my claim. The third claim was for a righty to remove the MCT and a benign fatty tumor. Again my claim was denied because they decided the MCT was now pre-existing and in addition decided the benign fatty tumor was pre-existing as well. I want to make it clear that the MCT itself was not diagnosed until a wellness exam that occurred after the waiting period. Seems to me they just didn’t want to accept the last two claims because I would have then met my deductible and they would have had to pay out on the third claim. They want to take your money and not help your pet.

OVERALL: THE BEST PRICED FOR THE MOST COVERAGE AND THE LEAST COST IN DEDUCTIBLE
METLIFE DOES REQUIRE DETAILS ON YOUR INVOICES, SO BE SURE THAT YOUR VETERINARIAN'S SUPPORT PEOPLE KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THE INSUROR NEEDS AND THAT THEY ACTUALLY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. YOU WILL HAVE TO FOLLOW THROUGH ON THESE PAYMENTS AS FRAUD IS RAMPANT, SO EXPECT THAT YOUR CLAIM SUBMISSION IS PROBABLY NOT A ONE-AND-DONE DEAL. ONCE MY VETERINARIAN'S OFFICE SUPPLIED ALL THE WRITTEN DETAIL REQUIREMENTS, THE CLAIM WAS PAID AND ANY MONTHLY PREMIUM PAYMENT MADE WAS PAID BACK TO ME PRO-RATA, AS OUR WONDERFUL STRAY CAT WHO ADOPTED US WAS KILLED BY A DOG THAT GOT LOSE AT NIGHT FROM IT'S OWNER. OUR ROMEO WAS APPARENTLY STILL SEMI-FERAL AND ABANDONED IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD. OUR NEIGHBORS MISS HIM. WE MISSED HIM. WE ADOPTED A DOMESTICATED FORMERLY FERAL CAT, SIMBA THE SQUEAKER, ANOTHER WONDERFUL CAT WHO IS NOW INSURED BY METLIFE. ROMEO WOULD WANT HIS TWO-LEGGERS TO ADOPT ANOTHER WONDERFUL FORMERLY-STRAY AND ABANDONED CAT
Absolutely the best service!
My boy File' had 13-15 stones removed at a really young age. The doctors and all employees at Chateau Vet were so good to him. He was back and forth to the clinic over a 3-week period, and we never felt like a number. They call us by name as soon as we enter the building. Met Life Pets has been a life saver! I have never had a claim denied. I will never trust my boys to anyone else. THANK YOU, CHATEAU VET AND MET LIFE PETS!!!!
Awesome Pet Insutance
Hagen is my first dog to have pet insurance. Unfortunately, he has already had some health issues in his first year of life. MetLife has exceeded all expectations.

Been with them 10 years
Been with them 10 years. 1 dog for 10, 2nd for 7. Paid out lots of $$ over $16,000. Reimbursement- $656.52 after deductibles. They used to have late payment option by a few days. Removed it without notifying anyone. Noticed this was after they lost a BIG class action lawsuit. Have a medical emergency in my family and requested a 3 day late payment. 3 days. Denied. Customer service non existent. Had asked about this before and they kept saying I wasn’t a customer and couldn’t find my account but they could keep getting direct payments. There’s other companies out there now with more services. Recommend new people search for better options. We pay more $$$ per month for pet insurance than ours. Get less consideration for loyal customer. 3 days delay. 3. Seriously. It’s not like they’re not going to get their money. Update: regarding their reply. They missed the point of my complaint. 1. I paid out a large amount over the years and used them very little because I kept our dogs healthy. I did not complain about the reimbursement it was in comparison to what I paid in. 2. They never notified customers of a change in policy. 3. A 3 day grace period for a long time customer is hardly an imposition or impossibility. To others: there’s many new companies that offer wellness services etc now. Check them out. I recommended HPI prior. They want loyalty but don’t extend it. You can also set aside the same amount you’d pay an insurance company every month - and if you keep your pets healthy - you’d have plenty to take care of them as they age. When a company loses a large lawsuit regarding practices, the company doesn’t pay. The customers do. Choose your company wisely. My two cents.
