I have Spot insurance for my Shinpoo and it has been wonderful to pay the cost I have in my coverage. I feel good having insurance on my dog for all her needs. They send your money back fast after you submit your claim. I not had any problems at all. The best insurance you can have on your fur babies.

Patient and helpful
Wasn’t sure exactly what I was doing to submit the claim called the assistance number and the person was very helpful. Told me exactly what to do. Got a quick response and got the assistance that I needed and they paid back the portion of the bill that I thought they would as they fully explained everything when I signed Baby Bee up. With everything she has been through I have learned the animals need insurance just as much as the people in the family!

I adopted my rescue dog Chase a year and a half ago. My previous pup died two years ago after a long illness so this time I bought insurance with Trupanion. Little did I know that my new rescue would be diagnosed with cancer. Trupanion has been a lifesaver. They are responsive and fair. Thank you, Trupanion.

Misleading
I adopted a cat from a shelter who was healthy as could be. The shelter suggested and signed me up for Fetch. I noticed a week after bringing her home that she was sneezing. I decided to add on the preventative care which said it waved the waiting period for check ups. Took her in for the check up and the doctor gave her a shot of antibiotics to be safe. Bill denied. Took her in for a follow up and a second round of antibiotics. Bill took a month to process and then denied. This was a “prior condition” so it wasn’t covered. Honestly the biggest waste of money and time. I will be canceling. Cheaper to pay out of pocket.

Figo doesn’t pay when you need them
Figo hides important policy information in fine print. Figo did not cover an important surgery my dog needed. They look for ways to get out of paying when pet owners need them most. I make sure to tell everyone I know how sleezy pet insurance is.

No! Find a different Company
No, find a different Pet Insurance Company. I opened a policy with Embrace May 2023, I filed my first claim October 17th, 2023. Per Embrace the 1st claim takes 30 days; today is December 4th & still no check. This is beyond the 30 days. I called Embrace & was told that they were waiting on info, I guess from the Veterinarian, then while on the phone with the lady she said that they (Embrace) has received the information & she would sent it to the adjusters to process. It's been 2 weeks since I spoke with them on the phone, I guess it's still being processed. DO NOT GET A POLICY WITH EMBRACE! WASTE OF MONEY! VERY DISSAPOINTED ESPECIALLY SINCE USAA RECOMMEND EMBRACE!

Sadie went above and beyond
I have had Trupanion since my second dog had an unexpected surgery in 2017. With my 4th dog, whom was adopted older and with "pre-existing" conditions, I initially thought I was flushing my money away. However in the past 1.5 years she has had spine and bilateral knee surgery, which would have cost me a small fortune. Thank goodness I have Trupanion. Tonight I spoke with an agent named Sadie whom really and truly went above and beyond to explain my most recent appeal, re-open 2 claims I have called several times about and are close to 8 weeks old, and how to address these issues moving forward. Sadie told me how glad she was, for me and my family, that we are insured. Thank you so much Sadie for your time, explanation, and compassion!!! We appreciate you more than you know. Trupanion, too!!!
