So far so good

So far, so good. Still waiting for one claim to be finalized but impressed that SPOT provided an update so that I would know about the delay.

Policy not fully implemented as of yet

We really cant review ASPCA for claim service as of yet. We have only just begun or policy and no claims have been made. However we can say that the different policy options were presented in such a way as to make key elements remarkably easy to compare, allowing us to evaluate the best options for our new doggie’s age and likely care needs.

Because "0" is not an option for AKC/Companion Care

More upset with myself than anything, make sure you know what you're covered for. Have never filed a claim during the life of my 5 year old French Bulldog, but have carried AKC insurance the entire time. A few weeks ago my boy developed IVDD- went from unstoppable to having emergency spinal surgery in a week. Over $6500 in bills, thought it was going to be ok, from the financial standpoint... you know, 'cause I had "pet insurance". Filed my claim, got back EOB & $500 today... that was it, all AKC/Companion Care covered was $500. My ignorance, my loss, feels more like a sham than anything beneficial.

Great Customer Service

I've had nothing but great customer service every time I've had to call Fetch. Their website works great most of the time, but any issue I've had on the website is easily corrected with a phone call. I talked to Kelsey today and she was great.

Fetch Pet Insurance- Great!

Lauren, was extremely clear on the policy how it worked and what was covered. She went over the Wellness Policy too. Very helpful! The cost was very reasonable for all that is covered.

Absolutely Abysmal Experience

Allow me to distill my extensive grievances with your abysmal company into 5 key issues: 1) The spay wellness claim was erroneously closed, leading to an exhaustive struggle to elicit acknowledgment. Despite consistent weekly follow-ups, progress with your team remained elusive. Absurdly, it was rejected due to a supposed lack of 12 months of medical records – a baffling demand for a 7-month-old pet. Even after addressing the issue with a manager, it took over 40 days for the claim to be processed, with my insistence that the clock be measured from the original claim date of 10/20. The medical claim, unjustly denied as a pre-existing condition, was, in reality, deemed non-existent. The absurdity of labeling a perfectly healthy state as "pre-existing" is confounding and calls into question the validity of your evaluation process. The deplorable state of your customer service is undeniable. The automated chat and phone prompts are not only nauseating but also appear to be deliberate attempts to avoid direct communication. Online agents displayed rudeness, a lack of concern for my issues, and an eagerness to hasten the chat's conclusion. The canned responses of "please allow blah blah days" were not only insulting but also unhelpful. Even phone interactions, marginally better, still represent the worst customer service I've ever encountered. The only redeeming aspect was the acknowledgment and apology from the manager I eventually spoke to. The inconsistency in claims processing time is unacceptable. The prompt payout of the first claim on 8/18 contrasts starkly with the swift denial of the second, while subsequent claims have languished for months without resolution. The inadequacy of coverage and the exorbitant cost are glaring issues. Receiving a mere $150 reimbursement for a $500 wellness spay is ludicrous. Despite paying over $1,200 in premiums and medical bills for routine wellness and a single cleared medical concern, Pets Best has approved a meager $255 reimbursement, with $150 still pending. The savings of $20 compared to not using have the insurance at all hardly justifies the considerable time and frustration spent dealing with your subpar service.
