The representative that called was very kind and patient through my many questions as I wanted to really understand what I was paying for. I also found the online chat was quick at responding as well. This all help my confidence in choosing Trupanion.

took $800 without sending me any info
Was given a free month of pet insurance when I adopted my cat. Never received a single email from them and they charged me over $800 without having an account. Cancellation process is unnecessarily complicated. going to kill myself

Our golden had a GDV (stomach flipped) emergency, and would not have survived without extensive surgery to save his life. Healthy Paws Pet Insurance came through for us, reviewed and paid the claim in a timely manner. We are completely satisfied, the coverage was there when we needed it!

Processing taking longer than usual
I like the company and the option to tailor make your policy. However, it seems that processing of claims is taking much longer than usual. My last claims took two months to process and seven days after settling, I have still not received my reimbursements.
