Don't trust Spot Pet Insurance for your own pets!
Please do not waste your time or money with this company. Very sad that a pet owner can pay months of premiums for a pet just to be denied multiple claims. Please spread the word. I will be cancelling my policy for my 2nd pet and will continue to share my negative experience dealing with the claims department for Spot Pet Insurance. $800 in claims completely denied for my dog. I started my Spot policy on November 14, 2022. Two week waiting period ends November 28, 2022. My 1st appointment for my dog was December 5, 2022. Every claim was denied including after life services which Spot said they would cover. Canceling my policy and hope you do the same. Please do your research prior to insuring your pet with Spot Pet Insurance. Spot provides inadequate insurance for pets. I will continue to spread my experience on social media and Twitter.

Do not recommend! I have had this pet insurance for several months and my claims are constantly denied even though I paid extra for things like wellness checks and dental cleanings. I have had to call every single time I have submitted a claim to ask why it was denied and every time the person I speak either tells me they don't know or they give me some round about reason that doesn't make sense. I do not recommend unless you want a constant headache.

I researched many pet insurance companies but ASPCA had fair rates and covered everything I needed. It was very easy to set up an account and choose a plan for my pets. It makes my feel good to know if my pet needs medical attention I have a good insurance plan to take care of things.

My dog is seven years old and has had many health issues. Healthy Paws has paid for specialists, testing, and medications with no hassles. She just had tplo surgery done by a board certified surgeon, and they settled the claim immediately. I’ve never had them question claims. Payment is prompt, and customer service is excellent. They’re the best, in my opinion!
