Best decision ever!
My dog has the accidental illness and preventative care coverage. She was recently spayed and she has had some serious complications. She is apparently allergic to the sutures that were used for the procedure (both internal and internal). Her incision opened and most of her other sutures came out. She has required multiple doctor examinations, medications, light therapy, and antibiotics. Thankfully, it has all been covered by Spot! The claims process is amazingly easy - I just have to upload her invoice on the app and explain why I took her to the vet. The claims return time is very quick. After spending thousands of dollars at the vet I am so thankful when I see the claims report from Spot with my coverage and reimbursement amount. Getting Spot was truly the best decision! Member for life!!

Easy & Fast
Submitting a claim with MetLife is simple, easy and the response you get is fast. My claim was submitted and approved within seven days with no issues. I'm extremely happy my company offers pet insurance as part of our benefits package and choose MetLife as the provider.
Simple but has a couple of hurdles to accomplish
It was , for the most part, simple and I am electronically challenged as many of us senior citizens are. The confusing part is putting in the information to have the payments go directly to the Vets. I am not sure how to navigate that process.

I have just purchased my policy and so have no history so far with the company. I have researched many companies and it impressed me that Prudent Pet continued to reach out to me and when I spoke with Megan, she was most gracious and answered all my questions. I think it will be a great fit for Gracie and me.

So far I've been incredibly impressed…
So far I've been incredibly impressed with the level of service and the simplicity of SPOT pet insurance processes. I work in the technology field so I know the tendency to go with AI and automated service for as much of the process as possible to keep costs low. I was impressed that I was able to speak to an actual person very quickly when my questions were not included in the FAQ pages. We experienced a nearly fatal accident with our dog just a few days after the insurance went into effect. I'm waiting to see how the process goes forward. Knowing the amount of her care exceeds what I ever expected to pay for her veterinary services, I expect a certain amount of investigation by the SPOT team. But after that concludes I want to see if the service level changes. Update to come. Stay tuned...

Chronic kidney disease
What went wrong. Pup diagnosed with ckd at 7 months after extensive exams. Proper diet is absolutely crucial for this condition. My Trupanion premiums do not cover consultations with experts to help me keep her condition stable. I research and do my best, but her steady decline continues. As time goes on, my dog's changing needs require more research, more guessing, more experimentation. I'm left wondering what next to try. Costs for consultations with dietary specialists are prohibitive. I pay monthly trupanion premiums ($71) in full, on time; only to witness my beautiful animal slowly expire. It's emotionally excruciating!! MY OBJECTION: Trupanion will assist with coverage for chronic urinary tract infections (and other various other infections) attributed to her CKD but not the dietary expertise/consultations to mitigate the frequency or severity of same. SO; Because this beautiful animal will expire years ahead of her time, I acquired another pup. This one is insured with Fetch; a policy with a slightly higher deductible, but with significantly lower premiums and coverage for consultations and recommendations addressing dietary concerns for conditions such as CKD. CAVEAT EMPTOR!!!! Sincerely and respectfully M

We just had to use Embrace for the first time
We just had to use Embrace for the first time. Although we have USAA for our car and homeowners and know that USAA is beyond compare, I was not sure how our experience with Embrace would be. Verdict: EXCELLENT! Filing a claim was so easy and we were reimbursed within 3 days after submitting. I had a few questions and they were handled wonderfully. Great customer service!
