No Hassle Efficient claims
I have claimed 2 times for my French Bulldog in the last 3 years. Both times I submitted the claims were reimbursed extremely fast. The first time our dog was suffering with pancreatitis. Sent off $1200 with all the appropriate documentation fro our usual vet and was reimbursed with no issues what so ever within a week. Just had another very large claim Dec2023. Total was over $12k due to emergency cervical spine disc removal (IVDD) at an emergency hospital by a team of veterinary neurologists. Again I submitted all supporting documents and within a week I was reimbursed the amount based off my policy limits and deductibles. No hassle no problems. My monthly premium is not outrageous and have never had any trouble at all with my Pets Plus coverage. I would absolutely recommend them.

Follow Up for Shih Tzu Twins
Follow Up for Shih Tzu Twins I canceled Trupanion within the 30 day FREE period after receiving the health summary. Both puppies experienced issues with the food the breeder recommended resulting in an emergency vet visit. Trupanion summary report advised further issues could result in consultation. Our vet advised Both puppies had a tooth she would be observing and may need extraction at a later date Trupanion summary report advised they would not cover. My experience with Trupanion is sub par. I cannot recommend this company.

Trupanion Pet Insurance is a God's Sent. They have saved our Lexie about 10 times. All I can say I Love , Love Trupanion ,

If there were no stars that would have been my choice. I have waited far to long (3 weeks, so far) for my claim. Never ever would I recommend Trupanion to anyone.

Insurance Review
Pets Plus Us has provided us medical coverage for almost 2 years now. Our 2.5 year old Frenchie has required a number of (thankfully) mostly small treatments/procedures. Coverage and exclusions were made relatively clear, and all claims made that we expected to be covered (based on the policy) were covered with approval usually only taking a few days. Anytime we called in for assistance, the staff have been knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful, including advising us to submit claims even when we were in doubt as to coverage. At least once we did receive coverage when we were worried we might not, resulting in a pleasant surprise.
Great Investment
My dog is the sweetest guy in the world but is also a complete dummy with no sense of self preservation. Healthy Paws has had to cover the cost of multiple of his shenanigans and has always paid out promptly according to the terms of my plan with no fuss or back and forth. Highly recommend.
