Seamless, compassionate, timely
I am so thankful we enrolled in Healthy Paws. Our one year old kitten somehow found and ate two small Nerf darts and although the foam part came up/out, the plastic tips didn't pass like we'd hoped. She had two blockages and we were at our regular vet, the emergency clinic and the surgical emergency. All the imaging, the surgery, the meds ... and more. It was a lot. I had peace of mind before all this happened, after diligently researching and asking around about insurance policies. Healthy Paws was the best choice. And-- two days after the claim, the money was deposited straight to my bank account. Whew, so glad it turned out well-- and our kitty after a convalescence is back to being bouncy and happy.

One of the best decisions I made
This insurance has been a godsend. My cat became quite ill and had 4 trips to the vet in one week. All our visits were covered. Such a relief during the stress of dealing with a sick pet. Definitely would recommend it!

Peace of Mind
My 6 y/o Zoe, lab x, was diagnosed about 10 Mon ago with diabetes requiring insulin 2x daily and is now developing cataracts due to the diabetes. Luckily, I started Healthy Paws over 2 years ago just as a precaution since I lost my last dog suddenly to cancer and didn’t have insurance (I had it then dropped it because the premium kept getting higher and higher and I never submitted a claim in 10 years!) I did some research and Healthy Paws stood out among it’s competitors. Submitting claims is easy and the response to them is almost immediate. Calling and actually speaking to a human being is also a priority of mine when I have a question. My premium has gone up this year just hoping that it doesn’t keep in creasing. But, without it I wouldn’t be able to afford Zoe’s treatment. Zoe is scheduled for cataract surgery to regain her vision and had I not had the insurance I would have had to let her go blind because of the cost. Thank you Healthy Paws for being there when we needed it. I have recommended your company to many of my friends with pets. Zoe is doing great and I have peace of mind knowing her care can continue! Trupanion has our three dogs insured. The rates have gone up and as pensioners we are now finding it hard but I would not, not have it. They have been great in covering costs with veterinary costs. Thank you

I couldn't be happier with MetLife. Little did I know that our 16 month old lab would end up with yeast and bacterial infections in his paws, followed by a serious ear infection. The vet was trying their best to find the right treatment to make Max better. We were at the vet weekly for awhile. MetLife paid for everything. Sometimes there was a little delay in getting them the doctor notes, but once in hand, everything was processed very quickly. Thank you!!
