When I first signed up, they were great. When I had a question about coverage, they were great. When I had to file a claim, they reimbursed us in less than 3 days and held true to their word on the reimbursement amount. I'm very pleased and do recommend. P.S. We filed a claim when our dog had to have TPLO surgery.

Trupanion representative was VERY thorough and explained everything we needed to know! He went above and beyond to make our experience a good one! He helped us in choosing which policy is right for our puppy and for us!! We have Trupanion with our 6 year old! We highly recommend it!!

Your representative, Joshua Sabado, did an excellent job of taking me through the steps to review and order your Pet Insurance. But those that followed in trying to help me sign in and use your service were not effective in resolving the problems and instead, kept sending me emails saying they understood my concerns - but did'nt do anything until I threatened to cancel the policy and go elsewhere.

Quick, kind, and easy service to use!
The process as a whole with Spot pet insurance is very easy, from filling out the information to submitting the claim! Response time is extremely quick, and when talking on the phone, they are kind and very helpful! We are super thankful we decided to get pet insurance!

Terrible System
The main issue was that they needed further information from one of the vets we attended. They weren’t making an effort to get it, and asked for my assistance for the info, but neither the online portal, nor the email request had info regarding which vet or what information they needed. After 3 phone calls with embrace I was able to figure out what they needed, and get it from the provider (which was very easy) and had them send it to me and Embrace, which I’m glad I did. I also forwarded the info and got email notification of receipt. One month later I get an email saying they never received it, so I get on the phone with a fourth rep, and have them put me in touch with an adjuster. Suzanne was great and got it figured out immediately. There’s just so many things wrong it’s hard to make any meaningful criticisms… but Suzanne was awesome, so two stars.

Simple, easy, as advertised.
The fact that they paid me in a reasonable timeframe without hassle is all I needed from an insurance company. This no-nonsense, no-run-around experience is exactly how easy it should be when submitting a claim and waiting for reimbursement. Everything was as advertised with no surprises.
