No problem on claim.

Three weeks ago we had our Boston terier nuetered. We have the wellness protection and there was no problem at all in getting the reimbursement. Smooth so long as you file the right paperwork.

at least they are honest!

I think people forget that they are an Insurance company- Just like any other insurance company they will weasle out of what they can! Anyway I just purchased insurance from them I had to comment because many people seem to not have read their policy fully or found out what would be covered BEFORE they went ahead and had things done at their vet, just expecting to be reimbursed. I really like how when I e-mailed them and asked them questions about my dog they were up front and honest about what would and would not be covered. They also suggested doing a medical history review where they review the dogs history and let you know up front what they will and will not cover. I think it's pretty darn good they are willing to do this and the woman told me up front if I did not like what they had to say in the medical history review, I could cancel my insurance policy and they would reimburse me for my premiums as long as I didn't make any claims. Inform yourself before you make any claims with them so you don't end up having surprised. You can't get mad about what was in black and white the entire time!

professional, responsive and caring -- the best

Our dog ate a balloon in September. We submitted our claim and within 2 days, it was processed. In October, we realized our dog was sick and a pair of tights was missing. Sure enough, he had eaten them and needed emergency surgery. I had my personalized claim form (which I can download in a second when I need it)ready for the doctors. Our puppy did great in surgery and our claim was handled quickly -- within a week, we received our check! Healthy Paws was extremely responsive and checked in to see how our dog was doing. What a great company!

New satisfied customer

We chose Embrace because it covered genetic defects and wellness. With our new puppy's first visit we have used up all the 200 wellness coverage. Got our check very quickly.

By far, the best pet insurance I have used!

Without Embrace, I would not have been able to provide Tucker with the intensive care that he required. On arrival to the ER, I had to make a prepayment of $3500 by credit card before any heroic treatment could be performed. Embrace gave me the peace of mind that I needed to sign for this expensive care. I received a check from Embrace for the cost of Tucker's 3 day stay in the ICU minus the deductible within 4 weeks time. A subsequent claim for an epipen was also covered. I can't thank Embrace enough for their care, concern and constant updates.

Best Pet Insurance

In 3 weeks time I had 4 claims. 3 of them was for 1 cat and 1 was for my other cat. It seems that both are having respetory problems. Had x-rays blood work and med administered. I am so pleased how the claims were handled. they waste no time in processing your claims. I am so happy I picked Healthy Paws Ins. It is the best decision I have ever made. Doris( Mass)

I love everything about Embrace - the coverage, the affordability, and especially the customer service. I wish that my own medical insurance was so easy and pleasant. I recommend Embrace to all of my friends.

Do not renew if you have an older dog

If you have an older dog, it is very likely to have what ASPCA calls a "recurring" condition. They will not cover it in subsequent plan periods. So if it is arthritis, liver problem, or cancer - you are left high and dry for ongoing treatment.
