Will always recommend Trupanion
When bringing our new puppy home and signing up for pet insurance could never have imagined having to use it. Sadly, our boy ended up with multiple health issues both genetic and accidental. We will forever be grateful that because of trupanion he was able to have the very best in veterinary care without ever having to say âwe canât afford thatâ. charged twice for annual deductible
i was charged an annual deductible twice in one year. within a month of each other. also, the amount uncovered made no sense as my dog did not have a preexisting condition.

Always double check your benefits…
I noticed that I wasn’t being reimbursed for some of the tests that should’ve been covered and so I called to get it straightened out. Apparently they had been basing my reimbursement on my policy from last year that had already renewed. So that was a bit confusing and unfortunate that I had to double check and then get it straightened out, it should’ve happened without that. So I guess there might be some systems that are not quite tuned up how they should be behind the scenes.
