Not Great Service or Experience. …
I have both wellness and the regular insurance. The two wellness claims i’ve had were both wrong (claims were wrongly denied- overlooked covered charges) and took an excessive amount of time with lack of communication from Fetch. All requested info from the vet was provided and the Fetch rep still said they needed more info- there was no more info to share as our puppy only had 2 visits to the vet! I’m seriously reconsidering continuing both the wellness and regular policies.

What would we do without Fetch
What would we do without Fetch? Our Lab, Boomer has had a rough 3 months. It was a comfort to us to know we could get him the treatment he needed with Fetch behind us. Highly recommend Fetch for your pet insurance provider.

The company is greedy
The company is greedy. I had a great experience with reimbursement however, over the last 4 years they continue to increase the monthly payment. I am now paying 90CAD as opposed to the 33CAD I started with in 2021. It jumped about 20CAD in 2022 then 15CAD in 2023 and now 30CAD in 2024. None of my friends/family have had this with their insurance so I would advise you to pick another provider. I unfortunately can’t switch as my dog would not have coverage for pre-existing conditions otherwise I would have a long time ago.

My dog recently had gallbladder issues and Fetch was easy to work with. You always wonder if they will really cover stuff when things arise and they were great. Had their policy since a puppy and now that my dogs are seniors it is getting used more. Good to know that Fetch is good when you actually need it!

Spot saved the day
My dog developed issues with her knee which will require surgery that is quite expensive. Thus far, I submitted bills for the initial treatment and surgical evaluation and the process was so smooth as was the outcome. I also submitted an estimate for the surgery, which is scheduled, and that process was equally smooth. I was hoping I would never have to use the insurance since it is quite upsetting to see my dog in pain or have to endure surgery. I would highly recommend Spot insurance. I absolutely love my dog and it's difficult enough to see her endure an unexpected orthopedic issue. With Spot Pet Insurance having my back from a financial standpoint, at least that burden is lifted from me.
