My experience shopping for pet insurance
I research several top rated pet insurance companies when looking for a policy for Finian, my 18 month old Irish Wolfhound. I have never had pet insurance before. Met Life covers the things that are important to me in maintaining Finian’s health and well-being at an affordable price. The enrollment was easy. The representative answered all my questions, was knowledgeable about the coverage, and very friendly. My only disappointment is Met Life does not offer equine insurance…..hint hint

TERRIBLE SCAM - DOES NOT COVER ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!
TERRIBLE SCAM! OVERPRICED and USELESS! DO NOT waste your money and time please! JUST DONT! They do not cover anything! Not only they do not return calls forever, but their management is useless and Rude!!! I had to “fetch” so they can review my claims. Until it was too late, and they conveniently told me the claim review period was over. And, even then I was told the plan wouldn’t cover it. So what does it cover???? Managment of the company is ignorant to the clients. They will not help you. Even customer care person was MORE understanding than the manager. He clearly said “No” to any of my questions. For questions why their company did not return the calls he lied to me that they did and I did not pick up the phone - so why didn’t you leave a voicemail??? Isn’t it a sensible thing to do to leave a voice message with the contact so your client can call you back?! So it’s a total lie. He did not call me. He even tried to accuse me in lying when I said that I called them multiple times to find out what’s going on with my claims. He told me how they do not accept it over the phone - so he has no clue about their automated system. He was HIGHLY incompetent and rude! If you love your pet DO NOT buy this so called insurance. You’re better off without it. Trust me. Waste of time. Waste of money. Waste of breath!!!!!!

This pet insurance is user-friendly, offers plans for all budgets, and is reliably helpful anytime I need to contact them! I've had two different pet insurance companies before Spot and they charged way too much, didn't notify me when they increased premiums, and didn't have the same perks.

I was skeptical about getting insurance
I was skeptical about getting pet insurance but Trupanion had made it simple and I am completely sold. I’ll never have another pet without Trupanion insurance ever again. They pay my vet directly or pay me if I front the cost. They are transparent and the customer service is fantastic. My dog was diagnosed with hip dysplasia after 2 years of insurance and they covered his surgery. Because of Trupanion, I was able to give my dog a great pain free and high quality life that I would never have been able to afford on my own. In addition, the responded quickly and my claim was paid quickly after my dog was bit by a rattlesnake and required emergency care. Thank you!
