Worth every penny
We appreciate Healthy Paws for helping us keep our furry family members feeling their best! When we bring a new fur baby into the family, we sign them up for Healthy Paws immediately. In the case of our one-year-old cat, it proved to be lifesaving. She developed gingivostomatitis and required a full-mouth extraction. Thanks to our plan with Healthy Paws, 90% of that surgical procedure was covered, and our girl is feeling better and is now back to her playful, naughty self!

So far, so good!
Filing the claim was easy and it was paid quickly and without issue. The insurance so far has been great! The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is the amount reimbursed is significantly less than what I paid out. It was not a surprise as I knew the amount I would get back before filing. I'm just not 100% satisfied with the amount offered in the wellness program overall.

Spot threw us a Lifeline
Having a terrible week being in and out of the ER myself with a broken leg- when my beloved pet was rushed to the emergency vet I was so worried for him, and also worried about how I would pay for it. Spot made the process incredibly easy and four days after submitting my claim I am being reimbursed a massive chunk of those vet bills. One of the best investments I have ever made and I now feel confident I can care for my pet without having to worry about how I will be able to afford his care.

I would highly recommend Healthy Paws…
I would highly recommend Healthy Paws for your pet. We have had Healthy Paws for 8 years since we first adopted our dog. We have never had an issue and their customer service is fantastic. Our dog has had two TPLO (torn cruciate ligament) surgeries within the 8 year period and Healthy Paws was extremely fast at processing the reimbursements. Other vet appointments she has needed (if included in the plan coverage) were also reimbursed promptly. I recommend you choose them for your pet insurance.

DO NOT PURCHASE PET INSURANCE WITH THIS PETTY COMPANY
hey take long to approve claims, nickel and dime you, there's now a deductible PLUS a co-pay for every claim. Guess what, their appeals process sucks as well, I provided enough back up, context, and a heartfelt letter explaining why I put a vet visit on a payment plan with zero % interest offered by @vca and how it's not any difference if I had put the cost of the visit on a credit card while I submitted the claim. STAY AWAY, Run away.
