My experience with Embrace has been terrific!
My experience with Embrace has been great. Website to submit claims is easy to use and claims were paid within a week or two and deposited directly into my account. It’s my first experience with pet insurance and so far I’m extremely happy with my choice!

They would not facilitate a one time…
They would not facilitate a one time payment online, despite advertising being able to pay online. I literally begged them today to charge my card, and they refused. It is a timed system, and they will not facilitate anything outside of the timed system. This will mean I will be charged extra fees for paying late, despite having no way to give them money outside of the auto charge.

Once accustomed you won't want another
It takes a while or a few tries to get use to the format and submit but once you have it , well it couldn't be easier. The response time with your approved re-imbursement is also quick.

I don't know what I would do without…
I don't know what I would do without Healthy Paws insurance! My dog developed an auto-immune disease last year and was hospitalized for 4 days. Then this year, partially due to her inability to fight infection because of the medication, she ended up in the hospital recently with bacterial sepsis. Without this coverage I could not have afforded this last hospital stay. I recommend to anyone with pets to get Healthy Paws insurance. Hopefully you will never need it but it saved me from having to make an impossible decision.

Co-pay included with Deductible
My insurance is listed as a $500 deductible and a 10% co pay after the deductible has been met. The company is charging me the $500 deductible plus 10% before they will pay on a claim. So I must pay $550 before the company pays on a claim. This amounts to a $550 deductible and not a $500 deductible. The representative I spoke to on 6/17/23 at 1:30pm was not helpful or at least only spoke the company line. I find this misleading in your advertising.
