My golden retriever went into shock from a ruptured tumor requiring emergency surgery and blood transfusion. Trupanion covered most of the cost and creating a claim was not a hassle. Great service and they came through when it mattered!

I've had this plan since we adopted my girl she had an accident when she was playing in the yard chasing butterflies and popped her knee cap out and it wouldn't stay in after rest and meds I made the call to get back with her vet and have surgery although it took a bit longer to get reimbursed but it covered all that was expected after the deductible was met and have never had an issue yes they went up on the cost by just a few bucks more a month which isn't bad although I wish it would pay the bill up front instead of reimbursement
