So far so good

So far so good, but I have only had it for two weeks. I submitted a wellness visit invoice and received my money quickly.

My first claim

My first claim, and it was so easy to do! Spot was fast and easy to track the process. They make it very simplified and seamless to process the claims and we received our funds that they covered back into our bank account within a week. Thank you Spot for being so efficient :)

Ideal Pet Insurance!

Customer Service is excellent, submission of claims into the app or website is easy to understand, use and upload; the efficiency of reimbursement speaks highly of how they value their customers; the 90% reimbursement rate all across the board (no matter what you choose for your deductible) makes the premium all worthwhile. LOVE Pumpkin for my fur babies :-)

Essential for covering my young dog's disease

I never needed insurance with my first dog but it has been essential in affording care for my new dog who was diagnosed with Inflammatory Bowel Disease around 8 months after I adopted him and has a lot of tests and specialist vet visits. Fido is fast and transparent and covered over $5000 in the first year. I hope they will continue to be this good as I work to get an effective treatment for my dog's weight loss.

Don't cover for all breeds!

I have an Australian Shepherd. Anyone who has owned this breed knows they are High Strung and anxious, oops don't say that word because Figo will use the owners words to decline your claim because it was pre-existing. At first they declined me because of a medication the vet gave for keeping him calm after surgery and said it was used for another reason. Vet wrote them a letter saying that was not correct. Then they declined because of a note of a word I used. I am not a vet and it was a word I would use on any Aussie. I told them they should not insure a breed that they do not understand or intend on ever covering a claim. They will look for any reason to not accept your claim. I will appeal again but low expectations. I will be pulling my three pets out of Figo and going to another insurance company. Waste of money!!! I reached out Figo support many times on the phone and via email. The last they claim that because I was quoted in vet notes as using the word anxious, could have been afraid, that I diagnosed my dog with anxiety. Even though my prior vet sent a letter stating he was not diagnosed with anxiety. Figo claims I diagnosed him and that word counts as pre-existing condition. When talking with your vet ask them not to quote you in their notes and be careful with your words, they will be used against you! Going on second appeal.
