I have had my dogs covered with Pets Best for over 5 years now and it has more than paid for itself every year. I compete in dog sports and the peace of mind knowing I don't ever have to make a decision based on money is well worth it. My claims have all been paid timely with no issues. Thank you!

Trupanion is okay but better options exist
Trupanion sounds great in theory but are incredibly slow to process claims. They do not communicate with you, as the insurance owner, when they are not getting the required health records from your veterinary office. You have to continually chat or call them to determine the cause for the claim process being delayed. They tell you the same thing each time "I sent a message to your claims person to expedite this claim." However, nothing changes. I have another dog with pet insurance through Nationwide and those claims are processed much faster.

The claims process has gotten much quicker in the last year. What used to take a few weeks is now done in a few days. The coverage is very simple to understand, so I have never had to dispute a claim. I always have an idea of what my claim will pay and it’s always been accurate.
