In memory of my Lincoln !
Last year unfortunately I had to say good bye to the best dog I’ve ever had in my life !He suffered a horrible injury yo his spine ,we did everything our trusted vet suggested from laser therapy ,cat scan ,different meds .He was never to regain his continence .I was shattered but through it all trupanion had my back making these expensive tests affordable to try absolutely everything we could for him ! I’m still so sad my heart aches however I have a niece now of my late boy ! She’s keeping me busy and healing my heart ,right away we never hesitated and signed her up at 7 weeks old right after we brought her home For anyone on the fence about pet insurance don’t hesitate please get them covered as they all deserve the very best we can humanly do for them as they are part of our family .Thank you Trupanion for being so supportive and I never worried about $ I could focus ALL my attention on helping my baby boy and when it was all said and done they were still here supporting me ! Heartfelt Thank you Trupanion ❤️🦴🐾

Customer Support Chat & Gabrielle were awesome - super friendly and answered all my questions about the process when a covered condition that hit the deductible "changes" after seeing a specialist that diagnoses my pup with a disease that encompassed his vomiting condition. Basically, just keep the communication and correspondence with Trupanion open and honest, and it all gets resolved! Thanks Gabrielle! BTW, we chose a high deductible because we really were trying to protect ourselves from a lifelong condition or severe accident - since paying the deductible per condition wouldn't put us out much, it made more sense to do a high deductible. Our first dog, and heart dog, Coco, didn't have insurance. When she got diabetes, then a year later, Cushing's disease, then EPI, then Lymphangiectasia, I really wish we would have had coverage. We don't ever want to be in a situation where money is the reason our pet can't get help - and there was a time Coco got really sick and they wanted to keep her for a week at the ER and we were quoted ~5k a day - so $25,000 on top of the $3,700 we were already paying that day. Luckily, we were able to get ahold of our primary vet that same weekend and he took her in and got her going again for less than $1,000. Had we had the insurance, that situation would have been a lot simpler. Trupanion seems to be great for that. Thanks Trupanion!
