Premiums double every year
The costumer service is incredibly friendly, but they are a money hungry company who claim the cost of care is increasing which I believe as the cost of everything is. Yet they have doubled the premiums every year even with a high deductible it’s still an outrageous amount per month. I will be looking elsewhere as I want the safety net of insurance but it has to remain feasible.

You send in a claim and it takes forever and customer service just apologize for it. It can take 42 days seriously? I pay every month and this unexceptionable.

Spot is fast with processing claims so you don’t have big balances on your credit card if there is an emergency. Also i appreciate that they cover skin issues and don’t seem to try to pass everything off as a pre-existing condition that is uncover- able. They also don’t seem to over scrutinize claims. Other insurance carriers i’ve used will question the same claim for my dog with chronic health issues who needs ongoing med management. Glad i haven’t experienced that with Spot!

I purchased Spot Pet Insurance because my vet cancelled the internal care plan. I had no idea our Beagle would end up developing a mass tumor and need surgery. Three days later we ended up at urgent care because the stitches popped. Spot has been a blessing to us in a time of worrying about our pup and our finances. I highly recommend Spot!
