I had a large claim for my 11 year-old dog. The process was super easy. The communication and response were very timely. I was thrilled with the coverage. The company did everything it promised. I had no delays or issues. Outstanding service and coverage.

Mixed Review
Our experience is a bit mixed. I guess, in retrospect, make sure you understand how preexisting conditions work. Here's the good: Quick enrollment (through my employee benefits package). Excellent mobile app. Easy way to submit claims. Cons: Preexisting conditions also excludes euthanasia. They consider that a "treatment". Go figure. So, make sure to carefully read the exclusions and question everything. The fact that euthanasia is a "treatment" is sort of a slap in the face. On top of that, they excluded IBD, not cancer. The latter is what my pet died from. In Summary: If you're going to get pet insurance, get it when you get your pet so there are (hopefully) no preexisting conditions.

Customer service is excellent, claims take a long time tho. Sometimes they need vet's notes too many times. But coverage is great but expensive $$$

carefully read and understand what is/isnt part of your policy
I have yet to really see the value here. I have a French bulldog puppy so im keeping this for peace of mind, but also considering just reserving a credit card for surprise expenses instead. what figo does reimburse for at least happens quickly. just be clear that this isnt a charity and not everything you think is covered as a result of their marketing is as it seems.
