I have used Embrace Pet Insurance for…both my cats and dogs, wellness and emergency care visits.
I have used Embrace Pet Insurance for several years. With Wellness care most of the year visit items are paid in full and quickly. With emergency care it can be longer. Usually, reimbursements are quick and no big deal. However, when there is an issue, the emails can be a waste of time. I would like to see an adjuster just pick up the phone and ask a question, issues would be taken care of so much faster. Otherwise, great plans are available.

So far not good
I can't say much in the way of positive right now. I filed a claim two months ago which still has not been resolved. I just started insurance with Embrace based on reviews and have paid three months of premiums with no resolution. I get that they need my dog's medical history and that was provided after a call to his Vet and Emergency Vet, but recently they would not pay the claim because they needed medical records from a Vet in NC before I even adopted him?! I called to tell them this was getting a bit ridiculous...how am I supposed to have records from before I knew him? When I called and hit the prompt for customer inquiries, I was told it would be an hour wait. I hung up and called back and hit the prompt for "cancel insurance," and got someone right away. I explained I am rethinking my decision because of these ridiculous inquiries and adopting a dog with an unknown past should not be all that uncommon. I was assured that I will hear something in a few days...we'll see. That was Friday and this is Tuesday? I also updated my address while on the phone with the customer service representative. I moved five miles away and changed the last number of my zip code from a seven to six and was informed my premiums will go up?! We are seeing the same Vet...how can our premiums go up?
