Phone call with CSR did not resolve problem

I have only had good experiences with Spot until this incident. Confusion for Spot was when i went directly to a specialist. CSR person on the phone did not understand and just kept repeating the same question to me. Once I spoke to a supervisor, the claim was understood and the supervisor was wonderful on follow through.

Easy Processing

It’s never a fun experience when a member of your fur family gets sick or injured. So when worrying and caring for your pet the last thing you want is a complicated insurance process. Luckily Pets Best has an easy claim process. Within 5 minutes I was able to submit my claim through their app, attaching a picture of the detailed invoice and they did the rest. And you can check the status of the claim thru the app. One note is that it did take about a month to get reimbursed; however I did receive a couple emails throughout apologizing for the delay. However, once it was processed I received an email with the explanation of benefits and a few days later the money was in my account.

Brittainy was excellent

Brittainy was excellent. Very professional and polite. I just get so frustrated paying the insurance premium for my one cat - Persephone. What also frustrates me is that I have been paying for my 2 cats for years and I should get a discount - since they have not been sick and I have not put in any claims. Please look into this for me-also if my cats are sick - I have to pay first and then get reimbursed. Other policies - pay and you do not have to lay out the money. If one of my cats is very sick - I will not be paying an exorbitant amount for their health. I am a widow and I support myself.

Reimbursement Slow

While the 80% reimbursement is nice, getting the reimbursement is a struggle. Four years ago, embrace reimbursement was fast like my FSA(maybe two days max). having that money back eliminates financial stress. But now it’s more like almost three weeks and generic responses when you call them to see if they have reviewed the claim. At one point in time, they would email you to let you know the claim is in review. They don’t do that anymore and it’s quite frustrating.

Amanda was so helpful in trying to figure out what my policy documents stated for a recent claim. There was a typo on my explanation of benefits that confused me and she helped me figure out the typo and she even let me know (ahead of schedule) that another one of my claims was partially approved. I hadn’t heard from Fetch about that claim just yet and I appreciate that she was able to let me know a tiny bit early so I could make more sense of the result of the claim. Thank you!

Easy and Smooth
