Customer service mistakes

I told them to put my second dog on my policy. The person i called apparently never did and i didnt find out until i didnt get reinbursted and found out why. Their customer service is not the best either.

Incorrect information on reimbursement

I was told that because my Simparica trip covered both heartworm and flea and tick, that I would be reimbursed for both heartworm prevention and flea and tick prevention. The medication is $217 but I was only reimbursed for flea and tick. So instead of $30 for heartworm and $50 for flea and tick, I only got $50. I feel I should have received both, it was what I paid for with essential wellness.

THIS PLACE SEEMS LIKE A SCAM TO ME

THIS PLACE SEEMS LIKE A SCAM TO ME. DO NOT TRUST THEM. I purchased this insurance and filed a claim after the 14 day "Pet Effective Date". This claim was processing for more than 2 months, all while they charged me a monthly insurance fee. After those 2 months they have denied my claim saying it occurred within the 14 day period prior to the "Pet Effective Date". I have provided proof that this isn't the case with an itemized and dated invoice from the Animal Hospital. When attempting to reach the company to dispute this I have had to wait on hold for insanely long periods before being able to speak to anyone.

Signing up for pet insurance was easy. The person I talked to on the phone was very pleasant, answered my questions and emailed all the information I needed to look over before deciding on a policy. I called back the next day and again, she was very kind and helpful and got everything set up for our new fur baby.

our dog developed a bladder infection…

our dog developed a bladder infection with bladder stones. Treatment for these 2 conditions were vet-prescribed antibiotics and diet. Embrace refused to pay for the diet, even though it is FDA reviewed for the purpose of treating bladder stones. the staff tried to help me, but this was a hidden rule that we did not know about

I was disappointed that on $2,000…

I was disappointed that on $2,000 emergency bill I only received $980 approx. I understood $400 deductible but still believe number should have been a lot higher. Things like the exam were not covered. How do you bring pet in to emergency and not get an exam.

Absolutely Horrible Pet Insurance

I placed my first claim on 7/22/24. I provided ALL the medical documentation I have for my dog. I called after two weeks of hearing nothing and they stated I needed to submit all the medical records when I did. Then, they stated they are missing 2022. I explained she didnt go and I pushed her vaccines back and they are landed in Jan 2023. The gentleman said it wasn’t a problem. Here we are two weeks later and my claim is still saying i need to provide all medical records. Outrageous. I will be calling them again in the morning and demanding a refund for the two months I have paid for with no action and I’ll be cancelling my plan
