My first puppy.. my first pet insurance experience

I got my first puppy (a golden retriever named goose) back in June and signed up for embrace shortly after in July. I cannot express my gratitude for Embrace pet insurance. My pup just turned 5 months old and he is the definition of crazy. knowing that I can bring him to the vet and be reimbursed for part of his visit gives me such a peace of mind every time I walk into the vets office. we unfortunately had an emergency foreign body surgery two weeks ago, and the claim is already being worked on by the Embrace team, which I am so thankful for. I Researched a lot of insurance companies and ended with Embrace and I will stay with them for all future animals. Thank you for all of your help and support.

Embrace was a life saver!

Embrace really lived up to my expectations when my dog was hit with an unexpected, accidental illness. What would've cost us thousands was much more affordable. I'm so thankful!

Literally Life Savers!

I never really expected to need the insurance for something major, but when my 8 month old puppy got Bloat, and needed emergency surgery to save his life, I was SO thankful I had it. PetsBest truly is THE BEST!!!! They paid a huge amount of the bill, and I had check in hand in just a little over a month. They were very communicative throughout the process, and I am beyond happy with them as a company!

Taking 4-6 weeks consistently to review submitted claims with all the appropriate documentation is absurd. There are other comparable brands out there that approve it in days with similar price points. It’s unacceptable that I continue to receive emails stating that they are overwhelmed with intake. Either hire more people or find ways to streamline and become more efficient.

Claims were never paid despite sending needed information several times. I would never recommend this company to anyone! Save your money and yourself from unnecessary frustration

Fyi, I have ASPCA pet insurance which is the same company. Its been 15 days since I submitted my dogs claim and everyday its denied because of missing medical records? My dog has had 2 doctors in the past couple of years, the first one retired, which is the reason changing doctors. This doctor recommended a specialist for his condition he had a year ago, we never visited that doctor because he was 45mi away. ASPCA repeatedly asked for medical records from both doctors and the specialist. I contacted his current doctor and the previous doctor and both confirmed sending ASPCA my dogs medical records and to be thorough, I also sent them copies as well. But they keep denying ever receiving them and now are demanding medical records from the specialist my dog never saw? I contacted the specialist and they do not have any record of my dog ever visiting? This morning I called again to check the status, and of course it was denied again for missing medical records. I think they intentionally make it difficult to discourage us from submitting a claim, I'm completely exhausted, everyday I'm spending an average 30min arguing and explaining, I can't do this anymore, I'm just trying to help my dog get better, I watch him suffer daily, no one knows whats wrong with him but so far I've spent $1800 on diagnostic tests and bloodwork and exams. These people don't have a heart.
