Worthless “insurance” that hasn’t reimbursed for anything of significance despite paying nearly $400 per year in premiums. Will be cancelling soon and advise others not to bother with this “insurance.”

Emergency surgery for kitty
My cat had an intestinal obstruction that required many tests and an emergency surgery. Filing the claim online was extremely easy (took literally five minutes) and I had the reimbursement money in my account in less than a week. We are so glad we had this insurance when this happened.

Coverage denial
I signed up for this insurance for my two cats in January. At that time I had to submit all medical paperwork from the vets so that coverage could be determined. We were given the green light. Fast forward to actually submitting a claim for ER visits and all was denied because they said everything fell under pre-existing and that after review, I should be on accident only coverage, however that was not told to me when I signed up for full coverage when they initially reviewed. I wasted a year's worth of premium money when they knew they were not going to cover my cat so for any medical claims.

Can be a literal life saver.
I got a policy for my kitten when she was first adopted, never imagining we would need it. Just before she turned 2, she required extensive medical care, and the policy was a life-saver. The claim was paid quickly, without hassle. And now she’s back to her normal self. Thanks to Spot, we didn’t have to make difficult decisions, and also have significantly improved the quality of life for our kitten.
