The one-hour "hold" wait was 8 minutes. The representative was charming, knowledgeable, and resolved my issue quickly and with good humor.

Happy customer, lacking desktop and mobile exp
So far I've been very satisfied with Embrace. pros - lovely, human customer service team - quick claim processing times - quick to receive direct deposit cons - there can be long phone wait times - less than optimal desktop and mobile experience I recommend investing in desktop and mobile improvements to ensure seamless, delightful workflows. re: desktop portal - improve user login experience - login pulls up random page before entering desktop portal - slow loading times on provider dropdown - plus, difficult to make selection from dropdown re: mobile app - it would be great if the mobile app supported screenshots - I end up avoiding the mobile app altogether because of this Embrace provides excellent customer service and claim processing times. If they want to take it to the next level, I recommend investing in improvements to desktop and mobile.

Wasted a years worth of payment
I only signed up with Embrace because they are working with USAA. To start they gave me a decent price to cover our cat. However after the first year they raised the premium by 40%. When I called to ask why, they said it was because I filed a claim, I said I never have, based on the date I realized it was not a claim but the required information requested from the vet by Embrace to start the coverage. I felt my account was flagged for pre existing conditions and I got the distinct feeling they will not cover my cat if he ever needs it. Cancelled Embrace. Until there is regulation for pet insurance, most people are throwing their money down the drain.

So far: unimpressed
So far, I am definitely underwhelmed. I have submitted several claims more than two weeks ago. I received a message that it was pending additional information… They said they needed vet history for the 12 months prior to the claim. However, when I signed up for Embrace, I informed Embrace, my pup was seven weeks old. I have spoken with a customer service representative about a week ago who said they had the information that they needed yet the status is still pending information.
