Regret
We are regretting using Embrace for our pet insurance. Between vets who are quick to diagnose a medical problem with outrageous expenses but don’t take the time to evaluate pets for more serious underlying diseases to insurance companies who are quick to escalate premiums without approving claims. We are very disappointed with both insurance companies and the outrageous costs veterinarian practices charge.

High efficiency reimbursement process
I was pleasantly surprised by the high efficiency of Spot Pet’s reimbursement process. It was simple and straightforward as it promises: create an account, follow the instructions on the website, submit the bills, and wait for the refund. We only provided the vet’s information, which is searchable, so no typing necessary; they asked the medical record (if it applies) directly from the vet. And the reimbursement was in our checking account within a week. Thank you, Spot Pet! Q.

I had a question about 2 claims I had submitted and follow-up emails about them that I didn't understand. I talked to 2 different reps and they were both so nice and helpful. The first call was disconnected and she emailed me back to finish that call. The second call answered all my questions and helped me add Wellness Rewards.

I signed up in 2020 for my dog who was…
I signed up in 2020 for my dog who was 3 and completely healthy and it was $37 per month. My premium in 2024 was $144 per month. My dog has no new health conditions or diagnoses, completely healthy. Their reasoning was “prices increase and in Washington there is no cap on pet insurance…..”. Incredibly disappointed. A quadruple price increase is beyond insane. Would not recommend. Very sad to have lost so much money.
