Bought insurance over phone from…
Bought insurance over phone from employee of company. Had a question about insurance policy and called company. Recording said I was number 53 in line to speak to customer service representative. 53!! I then called “direct number” of employee I bought policy from. Answering machine told me to leave a message. I did. Still no return call! So far, I’m not impressed.

Easy sign-up and knowledgeable reps!
We are new to pet insurance so had many questions. We were comparing to other companies as well. We decided on Prudent Pet Insurance as they seem to have strong coverage at reasonable rates and a straightforward approach. Stephanie, the rep we spoke to, did a nice job of answering our questions and made the sign-up process simple. We're hoping that we made a good decision!

Rates are reasonable, the policies are clear and easy to understand, and claims are processed super quickly. We've had great experiences with Healthy Paws for both our pets. They even reached out after one was recently hospitalized just to check in on how she was doing!

Deceitful renewal rates
After obtaining a policy for my Great Dane in 2020 they increased the monthly bill by 40% the following year. I was told by a representative that they hadn’t increased the rate in a while which is why it resulted in such a significant increase and that I shouldn’t expect another large bump in my rate again. Unfortunately the following renewal year the rate increased again by another 27%. Seems like nationwide lures with a reasonable rate only to increase once they have you as a customer. Very deceitful.
