After reviewing several top pet insurance companies, I chose Spot because of the positive reviews and insurance options. I'm so glad I did! Once enrolled, making a claim is very easy and most impressive is the quick turnaround of reimbursement! I highly recommend this company!

Dog's Best Friend - Lemonade!!!
I recently had to take my dog to the Emergency ER after hours when he suddenly could not bear any weight on one leg. At the ER I was comfortable saying Yes to whatever diagnostic tests the vet deemed necessary, knowing that I had Lemonade in my corner! Once we were home with a diagnosis, meds and a plan for action, I started my first claim. My claims person was Alicia C. and she made it SO simple!! She even gave me options for how to send my invoice when I goofed up the first time. The whole process was wonderful; I couldn't be more pleased. And Alicia even ended our correspondence by sending Mr. Bingley a belly rub. Thank you, Alicia C. and Lemonade!!!

Best Decision I Ever Made
I have had 4 cats for the last 17 years. Sadly I have lost 3 (2 were bottle fed from the same litter) over the years and my last girl is 17 and going strong. Needless to say the medical bills have racked up over the years. Last year my job offered us discounted pet insurance through our benefits and it was the best choice I ever made. Issues have been resolved every time I have contacted them. They have covered every claim I have put in, including my boys final medical bills to my girls prescription food. Only complaints I have is that I wished this worked like human insurance because you don't always have it to lay out ahead of time. I wish you could pay your premium and pay co-pays. Only other complaint I have is that it has been taking over two weeks for the claims to be processed. Which I understand, especially now that they are adding companies in. Other then that I have had nothing but good experiences.

ASPCA Is Amazing!
The customer service at ASPCA is great. Everytime I file a claim (which is quick and easy), I feel safe knowing that I will be reimbursed 90% of what I spent. The only question I have is why my insurance rate changes depending on zip code. Certain zip codes are cheaper than others even if we're right next to each other.

Avoid Pet's Best At All Costs!
It took Pet's Best 2 months to settle my claims once my cat died. And my 80% reimbursement rate turned out to actually only be about 58%, thanks to Pet's Best's "fuzzy math" system. I may or may not purchase pet insurance once I get my next cat, but you can rest assured that I won't purchase that policy through Pet's Best. Thanks for the "education" - let the buyer beware!
