Service that set my mind at ease
My dog Oliver had to have emergency surgery that took us to two ERs which was stressful enough, and we had exceptional care at both. But Pets Plus Us Insurance made the claims process easy and unstressful for the already stressful situation. I didn't have to do a thing, the vet clinics submitted everything for me and all I had to do was confirm with Pets Plus that they received all they needed, easy peasy. They approved everything and I am just waiting for the reimbursement. Thank you all for everything! Samantha and Oliver
Do Not Embrace Embrace
I am so displeased with Embrace that I considered reporting it to their state's insurance board. As far as I garner, they have a very sophisticated bait and switch program. I changed the policies of my dogs as they aged; Embrace claims they have not record. Embrace increase the yearly cost without personal notification. A text is not a proper notification. Then after they raise your deduction amount, the have a 60 day waiting period from the renewal date. Who remembers what date they signed up? Again, where is the notification? It has cost me over $300 a month to ensure my dogs and yet Embrace has not covered one expense. They keep raising the deduction without proper notification. I assure you that I would never carry a $1000 deduction and a $10,000 coverage on a senior dog. Embrace is so insulated that it is almost impossible to contact them; there is no email address and if you try to call, be prepared for a very long wait.I finally got through to a young woman who offered explanations that were less than satisfactory. I feel that Embrace's honesty is edgy. I warned the young lady to whom I spoke, do not drop my policy until notified. Also, I found after much research an email. I have not heard back from Embrace. insure

Pet Insurance - Wellness plan not as advertised! .
All my questions were answered and the online purchase was smooth. Update 10/4/24: I filed my 1st Wellness claim and many of the services covered under the Preventive Esstentials Plan were denied because my vet bundled Fecal, bloodwork, and urinalysis. Therefore they denied the annual vet exam that is advertised to be reimbursed at 100%, they denied the rabies and Lyme disease vaccines, also to be covered at 100%! Because the vet bundled tests, Pumpkin refunded my Preventitive Essentials premium and essentially covered nothing, as if I never had the Preventitive Esstentials plan at all. WARNING: discuss with your vet on how they bill before submitting a claim!
